The Skagit Valley Camera Club (SVCC) is a friendly local group of dedicated and creative photographers who live in Northwest Washington State. From our backyards to the Himalayan highlands our photographers cover the world.

Club members share images knowledge and techniques. We sponsor great local photography workshops hosted on by our own homegrown professionals like large format photographer Dick Garvey. Our meetings feature interesting speakers many of whom are great photographers. There are no contests, critiques or judging; just a friendly get together to share our favorite images and enjoy a special program.

Our club meets monthly. Each meeting has a photographic theme like Black & White or Textures and Pattern. Members bring their own slides, digital images on CD or prints to share with members. The club owns a digital projector. We publish a monthly email newsletter that is sent to all members.

The annual club picnic is held the second Thursday of July at at the Deception Pass State Park Bowman's Bay picnic area. There is no "regular" meeting in July and there is no August meeting.

New members are welcome . We invite you to attend one of our meetings. Just introduce yourself to one of us before the official program begins at 7 pm and we will introduce you to our group.

When?
Second Thursday of the month (no meeting in July or August)

6-7 pm - casual social hour: members order a pizza or another entree and share ideas.

7 to 9 pm - program: speakers, sharing images and techniques.
