  14. Image Naming Convention
Please name your images as shown below using the name of the image you want to see displayed under your image in the online gallery. Please separate distinct words in the image name with a space as shown in the examples below.

Please use upper case letters where appropriate.

The way you name, spell and case the image name in the file name will be the way your image title will read under your image on the website.

    EXAMPLES

    Sunrise.jpg
    Mount Baker Morning.jpg
    Skagit Dawn.jpg
    Alaska Crab Boat.JPG
    Haunted House.JPG

    * Please do NOT include hyphens or underscores as word separators.
    * Please be sure the file extension .JPG or .jpg is at the end of the file name as shown above.
    * The file extension may be lowercase .jpg or uppercase .JPG as seen in the sample list above.

NOTE: MACINTOSH COMPUTERS & FILE EXTENSIONS
The Macintosh operating system allows you to save a file with no file extension appended to the end of the file name. If you are working on a MAC please set Photoshop's file saving preferences or perhaps or your Mac system preferences to add the .jpg or .JPG file extension to the end of the file name. This is not an issue on Windows

  15. E-mail Subject Line Naming Convention
Please put your first and last name in the E-mail subject line as follows.
(replace "Tom Higgins" with your name.)

    Tom Higgins SVCC images

    Why do this
? Because many people have cryptic email addresses that do not clearly show the sender's name. This will also make the process faster for our volunteers. Thanks!

  16. Please attach all images to one email and send the email to this address: svccimages@gmail.com

Thank you for following these guidelines. This process will make gallery maintenance efficient and easy for SVCC volunteers maintaining our member galleries.
