As an avid scuba diver, my first interest in photography is underwater.  I had  a GoPro camera mounted on my bike for safety and that was the limit of my interest in photography.  About four years ago I took it diving, since it also came with a waterproof case, and the rest is history.... I was hooked.   After a brief time with the GoPro I quickly moved to a compact camera and recently upgraded to a 4/3 mirrorless camera.  My first passion was photographing macro critters and challenging myself to make the most mundane look interesting and beautiful.  Recently I am developing my eye for wide angle.  My hope is for people that see my pictures to be amazed at the diversity and beauty of life underwater and create awareness to protect the environment.
