I started out with a Kodak Brownie camera in the early 1950’s and went through various film cameras, mostly shooting colored slides. When I started diving in the 1960’s I shot slide film on a Nikonos underwater camera. When we traveled to various sites around the world, mostly in the South Pacific, we would take 40 rolls of film with us. And of course we would not know what we had until we got it developed. When digital cameras were introduced we took our first digital camera on a trip to China in 2002. Since I retired I have been printing my digital pictures on a roll canvas printer and making frames for them in my wood shop. This has become a fun retirement business.
