My photography, very long ago, was snapshots of wherever the family went on vacation. Pictures were mostly of posed family members by the lake, or whatever – I’m sure you get the idea; we’ve all been there at some point. Later I realized that I was traveling to places where very few people go, at least not voluntarily, so I took pictures of what I saw. OK Lew, where might that be? Places like the west coast of Alaska or waves breaking over the rocks on the second to the last island in the Aleutian Chain. Always trying to make my pictures better, more interesting. But now the wonders of a modern camera and digital “film” WOW! A super-fast ISO is just another setting on the camera and when I don’t get the picture quite right, my delete key does wonders. Still learning, but having a great time doing it.
